杨洋 1993年生于内蒙古呼伦贝尔,现生活工作于广州。


“我的创作围绕社会与生活中的审视、消解及转换、无用地劳作、自然生态与个体的关联、工艺美术、所使用媒介涉及到绘画、影像、工艺材料  。创作的过程也让自己与作品相处沉淀,继续延展个人在成长过程中面临的现实。”


Yang Yang was born in Inner Mongolia, China, in 1993.


"My work originates from scrutinizing, counteracting, and transforming my experience with the society and everyday life. I value useless labor in the process of making. I’m also interested in the relationships between the nature and individuals. Using painting, video, and different craft materials among others, I try to settle and extend the reality I’m facing in my artistic creation."

我用绿色的油漆涂饰着高低不平的立方体,油漆溢出有限的空间,顺势下落,形成了不规则的层次 。颜色深入浅出,犹如草原的四季,充满着不可抗力的静谧与人类的暴力,我们未曾探索的自然,只留下动物的痕迹……。


I painted the uneven cube with green paint. The paint overflowed the limited space and fell down, forming an irregular surface layer. From light to dark, the color is like the four seasons of the grassland, full of force majeure silence and human violence. The nature we have not explored leaves only traces of animals….

甘肃省武威市雷台汉墓出土的代表性器物马踏飞燕是作为中国国家旅游的标志。器物本身造型流畅、动态奔空、具有瞬间感,更有奔马急速向前的动势,在汽车为整体的背景下, 放置在黑色轿车前方居中车头部分。经典造像作为车标,形式或被削弱或被融合。


Ma TA Fei Yan, a representative artifact unearthed from Leitai Han tomb in Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is a symbol of China's national tourism. The utensil itself has a smooth shape, dynamic flight and a sense of instant. It has the momentum of galloping forward. Under the background of the car as a whole, it is placed in the middle of the front part of the black car. As a vehicle logo, the form of classic statues is either weakened or integrated.

在藏传佛教的发源地西藏山南市,拍摄城市各处空间的建造与拆迁,并在图像所展现的空间中,使用图像处理软件编辑加入常在寺庙中出现的壁画。


In Shannan City, the birthplace of Tibetan Buddhism in Tibet, we photographed the construction and demolition of the space around the city, and used image processing software to edit and add murals that often appear in temples.

三角形稳定的雕塑台与树根的切面链接在⼀起,树根保持者生长时最后的方向,无序的像火⼀样,表面留有焦化的漆液,微微地泛光。注视着被烧焦的树根,大火中还隐藏着⼀只招手焦灼的小熊。


The triangular stable sculpture platform is linked with the section of the tree root. The final direction of the tree root holder's growth is as follows, with coking paint left on the surface and slightly glowing. The little bear is still burning in the fire.

一个纸飞机在我所生活的城市里上升、平行、旋转、落下消失 。纸飞机是一张机票叠成的,是2019年4月21日朋友在斯里兰卡旅行时突遇爆炸恐怖袭击改签回国的机票。


A paper plane rises, parallels, spins, falls and disappears in the city where I live. The paper plane is made up of one ticket. It is the ticket that my friend changed to return to China when he was travelling in Sri Lanka on April 21, 2019 in case of a terrorist attack.

我在餐厅打工的地方,厨房定期使用、更替的抹布。一些扔掉的被我在平日里收集起来。再清洁整理折叠悬挂起来。它也有了些韵律和美感。


Where I work in a restaurant, the kitchen often uses and changes rags. These are my daily collections. Clean it up and hang it folded.It also has more rhythm and beauty.

石马从鼻子至肩部的脊状刻划很可能代表着早期的缰绳。此前,人们多认为马的驯养最早发生在公元前3500年的中亚地区。沙特地区石马的发现表明马的驯化很可能早于这一时期。


我在旧货地摊上购买了一个现代铜马工艺品,半年的时间慢慢磨掉铜马之前制作时马具的痕迹。


Traces from nose to shoulder may represent the early reins. It can be confirmed that horse training took place in Central Asia in 3500 BC. The discovery of stone horse in Saudi Arabia indicates that the domestication of horse may be earlier than this period.


I bought a bronze horse and spent half a year grinding away the traces of harness on the bronze horse.

在草原清晨泛起的烟雾中,牧民的生活从清扫园子开始了。相隔不远的城市里,一座清真寺内老人领着孩子去为亡人诵经祈祷。城镇外的牧场,羊圈的护栏打开,羊倌在清点着羊的数量, 大羊、小羊冲了出去爬上山坡,消失在清晨的雾中。清真寺内宰杀的母鸡被阿訇又中的经文所赦免了食者的无罪。此时山林中寻到一只落队的小羊。它没有跟上羊群是因为它的眼睛瞎掉了,那就把它吃掉吧!城镇里荒弃的破楼,⼀位脑出血的老人一个人在进行康复训练,他缓慢地移动着脚步。回到草原的羊群中,羊倌在驱赶着走散的羊,人群中两位摔跤手在互相扯着对方的重量。马儿在草地上奔跑,人们在寺中祈祷。入夜归来的羊群进入了羊圈,羊倌进屋补充温饱。年轻的人在寺中学习如何礼拜祈祷。夜已深,淡雾慢慢包围了牧场…清晨又到。羊倌清点着羊的数量是否和昨天⼀样。它们爬上了山坡走着昨天的脚印,年轻的人一直看着远方…。

In the city not far away, an old man led his child to chant scriptures in the mosque and pray for the dead. On the ranch outside the city, the fence of the sheep pen was opened. The shepherd is counting sheep. The sheep and lambs rushed out to climb the hillside and disappeared in the morning fog. The hens slaughtered in the mosque were pardoned by Imam. At this time, a lamb was found in the forest. He lost his way, because he was blind, so he ate him! In an abandoned building in the town, an old man suffering from cerebral hemorrhage is receiving rehabilitation training. He walked very slowly. Back on the grass, the shepherd drove the stray sheep, and two wrestlers pushed each other in the crowd. Horses are running on the grass and people are praying in the temple. When the sheep come back at night, they go into the shed and the shepherd comes into the house to replenish their energy. Young people learn to pray in temples. The night was deep and the mist slowly enveloped the pasture - it was early morning. The shepherd checked whether the number of sheep was the same as yesterday. The shepherd and the sheep climbed up the mountain with the footprints of yesterday. The young man kept looking into the distance.
